Call To Grid continues its relationship with the 2024 Ultimate Track Car Challenge

Call To Grid is thrilled to announce our continued relationship with the 2024 Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge presented by Grassroots Motorsports!  This year things are a bit different. The UTCC is Thursday and Friday and the SCCA Time Trials Nationals are Saturday and Sunday. We’ll be at the track Thursday and Friday and we’ll be handing out prizes Friday evening for the Fastest Production Car after cold track. Secret busted, it’s cold hard cash! Something you can use right now (pay for fuel or hotel room or a couple tires)!

What is the 2024 Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge?

The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge is simply an annual competition held to find the ultimate track car. We end the season the right way! No pesky rules to have to deal with, other than safety. This is your opportunity to do all those cool things you’ve been thinking of. Run as wide a track width as you think possible, run that crazy box flare you’ve dreamed up, run that wild aero you have a hunch will be fast, or run a giant intercooler.

This is also a great chance for shops to show off their work–or settle a grudge with another outfit. Awards go deep into the field, too, meaning lots of hardware to hand out. Pro cars are invited, too. What’s faster: a World Challenge car or a Trans Am titan? Let’s find out!

October 24-25, 2024

SCCA Time Trials Nationals:
October 24-27, 2024

Where: NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky

Who: Anyone who thinks their car is the fastest track car in the country! No holds barred! Run that crazy aero you’ve envisioned!

OK, There Are A Few Rules

There are a few rules to help keep you safe.

• Recommended that all vehicles competing in UTCC meet SCCA safety level 3.

• Production vehicles with unmodified powerplants and aero are required to meet SCCA safety level 1

• Production based vehicles with modifications to powerplants and/or aero are required to meet SCCA safety level 2

• Non-production based vehicles must meet, at a minimum SCCA safety level 3 and may be required to meet requirements set within SCCA Club Racing’s General Competition Rules.
